Hey, all you Medfield Alumni! What would be a good way to catch up with some old friends?

Calling all former Medfield High School graduates and anyone else for that matter. Open to all! On Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the American Legion on Peter Kristof Way, the Medfield High School Alumni Association will host Trivia Night: a fundraiser for the scholarships given out each graduation to MHS seniors. This year’s Alumni Scholarships will be given in memory of Wheelock School librarian Susan Pope. Last year, they were given in memory of Mrs. Estelle Stahl.

The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the games will begin at 7:30. The last game will end at 10:15. Cash prizes will be given to tables winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Cost of a ticket is $20 if purchased before the event or $150 for a table of 10. The night of the event each ticket will be $25 or $200 for a table of 10. The discount tickets may be purchased at Lord’s ahead of time, or regular-priced tickets may be purchased at the door. You may purchase a table for you and your classmates or friends, or you may purchase a ticket as a single and sit at a table with other singles. Snacks will be provided, along with the Legion’s cash bar.

Trivia will be from a wide range of topics, including arts and entertainment, TV, sports, geography, news and current events, pop culture, and people. There will also be questions about the history of Medfield and MHS trivia provided by local historian and MHS alum Richard DeSorgher.
