Dear Parents and Seniors of the MHS Graduating Class of 2020,
Please accept our sincere congratulations as you approach graduation day. We know that your years at Medfield High School will serve the Class of 2020 well in their future endeavors, and we offer our best wishes as you embark on this important part of your life’s journey.
Since our founding in 2008, the MHS Alumni Association has been able to raise funds to support $10,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors. This year, we are pleased to be able to provide the following scholarships:
(1) $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior recognizing that they have shown dedication to their community
(1) $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior in memory of John Panciocco – The John Panciocco Memorial Scholarship was established by the Medfield High School Alumni Association in 2019, in memory of assistant athletic director, coach, teacher, and Medfield High School graduate to recognize a graduating senior who has possessed qualities that Mr. Panciocco displayed every day. A student who has exhibited commitment and loyalty to their schools and/or communities and who is pursuing a career in teaching and or physical education/coaching. In 2020, one $1,000 scholarship will be offered recognizing one graduating senior
(1) $1,000 scholarship to a graduation senior in honor of William J. Kelly the Medfield High School Alumni Association created the Lord’s / William J Kelly Scholarship in honor of William J Kelly and the legacy that he led with Lords. The scholarship is to award those that have taken the time to maintain a part-time job for at least one year in high school.

Our mission statement is as follows: Embodying a sense of pride and appreciation of traditions, Medfield High School empowers teachers to teach and students to learn. Founded in 2008, the Medfield High School Alumni Association preserves a shared spirit and culture among future and present alumni. The wide-ranging and diverse network of communication insures the unique ideas, long-lasting loyalty, and perpetual camaraderie of Medfield High School.
To support our mission, besides our scholarship program, the MHSAA has been successful with the following goals:
- Assist with planning and organization of reunions.
- Facebook group – 912 members
- Multi-Year Reunion in August 2012
- Organize and sponsor local and regional social events.
- Alumni Tailgating – Homecoming Football Game 2011 & 2019
- Trivia Night 2012 and 2013, 2019
- Senior Parents’ Night Out 2011, 2012, and 2013
- Donation to help the Jazz Band go to China
- Bob Hersee Concert
- John Panciocco Memorial Softball Tournament 2019
To fund the MHSAA scholarships and activities, we produce a number of fundraising events each year. These include the annual Senior Giving Program, which is a one-time commitment to support the MHSAA and its continued goals. We ask that each graduating senior’s family donate the amount of the graduation year – this year being $20.20.
